What I am doing?
Something about me
Thanks to my keen interest in 3D modeling, I enrolled in an IT school. As it turns out, it was a fortunate decision for me. Programming and web design eventually became my newfound passion, and it continues to grow with each new language, framework, CMS, or tool that I learn.
In this school I learned the fundamentals of my IT education. Before attending, I had never considered programming as a job for myself. Initially, I wanted to be a graphic designer, but after my first year I realized programming was my true passion
After I finished school, I began working at Ameisenhaufen GmbH in Vienna, where I was given the opportunity to receive training in web development.
Working with and for people in the rescue service has been a great learning experience for me. Beforehand, I was not particularly outgoing and had difficulty connecting with strangers. My nine months in the service have helped me to hone my interpersonal skills and I believe my life would be very different if I had not taken this opportunity.
Towa was a shocking experience at first, as it required me to dive deep into new things I didn’t even know I would need for this job. There were many times I felt overwhelmed, and my ADHD brain didn’t help the situation.
However, after two years, I became quite independent and had learned so many different things that extended my skillset.
The newest part of my work life, I have begun to expand my work beyond the usual tasks, and have been writing more code for back-end systems and mobile applications.
Although photography is just a great hobby for me, I like to use the pictures for private projects. Hopefully that should somehow justify why I put it here as a reference. Also, imagine how boring this website would be without pictures and videos.
My first line of code is almost a decade ago. Back then I wrote simple lines in Visual Basic 10 and today I have a wide range of programming languages and frameworks to choose from, which I regularly expand.
Like most developers, I have also been occupied with the topic of design. Especially the area of 3D modeling has always interested me and now I try to deal more with classic web design.
My Current Project:
My current favorite project is a niche knife blog titled SomeKnifeReviews. Within this blog, I’m experimenting with a customized WordPress theme. Specifically, I’ve adapted and expanded upon the open-source FlyntWp theme. The project is still a work in progress, and I’ve found myself starting over multiple times, refining its functions and features. My goal is to have a stable knife blog by the end of 2024 and a sleek, custom theme ready for future endeavors.
